I can confirm that “the rake” is back this season but Bite Force doesn’t have a dumb drone or anything like that so I highly doubt that we’re going to see it today. The main event fight features the debut of HyperShock 3.0 going up against Bite Force, whom we’ve already seen this season. This week’s episode promises to be a good one. “And THIS is why Double Jeopardy can’t use the T-shirt gun anymore.” I know a good many of you are probably in disagreement with that statement because you’re starstruck over Carmen’s hotness or whatever but just trust me on this, it doesn’t matter how bangin’ the boobies are you will eventually get fed up and tired of shit like this the twentieth time you’ve seen it. It’s kind of a dumb gag but I guess it beats Carmen Electra catching it between her tits which is probably what would have happened if we were still watching this show on Comedy Central. Kenny shows off the bullet and then tosses it to Chris who is supposedly just out of shot getting his makeup done. Double Jeopardy’s ammo is a five pound slug of solid metal that can hit a target with about two and a half tons of force. Last week’s episode opened with Kenny virtually jumping up and down in excitement over Icewave, this time he’s teasing us with Double Jeopardy which has BattleBots’ first ever proper projectile weapon. Overall it was a great experience with lots of new friends made. Now that we’re firmly into the thick of the “Fight Night” season and everyone knows the cast and crew it seems like the editors are taking some more liberties in giving Chris and Kenny personalities beyond simply being two guys sitting beside the arena yelling non sequiturs between play-by-plays. The team got into the spirit with their mascot "Skippy" being an event favourite for photos, however the vegemite was not as warmly welcomed. The Team and Coach are over the moon with this achievement which has shown that hard work can pays off.Īt the Worlds Mary went to a Girl Power program and meet some amazing women in STEM occupations, including the Captain of Witch Doctor from Battlebots, Andrea Suarez. The team as part of their researched designed rescue packs for different situations, how carrying the rescue packs affected the drone in flight as well as the battery life of the drone. The team researched Drones and how the Police Rescue in Goulburn has used the drones to help with their rescue work. After a 4 minute presentation and 5 minutes of questioning from the judges the team was awarded the STEM Project Award. This year's theme was Robotic Technology in our Community. Unfortunately only the top 20 teams move onto the finals, however the Wollondilly Roobots robot was able to compete in all matches showing that their design was reliable and robust.ĭuring the event teams had to present their STEM Project. At the end of the qualifying matches the team ranked 36th.
